Fizz

Sous-famille de Sour

A shaken sour with soda, served without ice in a smaller glass than a Collins. Often features egg white for a frothy texture.

The Fizz emerged alongside the Collins but distinguished itself through ice-free service and the addition of egg white. The Ramos Gin Fizz (1888) took the form to its most elaborate expression.
