Sour mix

A pre-made blend of lemon or lime juice and simple syrup designed to replicate the sour component in cocktails without fresh-squeezing. Convenient but inferior to fresh citrus, sour mix is used in bar-speed versions of Whiskey Sours, Margaritas, and Amaretto Sours.
