Une lanière de zeste d'agrume (environ 5 à 8 cm) pressée au-dessus d'une boisson pour en libérer les huiles aromatiques, puis soit déposée dans le verre, soit posée sur le bord, soit jetée. Le twist apporte de l'arôme sans l'acidité du jus.
