Sloe gin

A gin-based spirit produced by steeping sloe berries (from the blackthorn shrub) in gin with sugar, resulting in a sweet, slightly tart berry-flavored spirit with gin botanicals. Sloe gin's fruity depth is central to the Sloe Gin Fizz and lends a berry character to various punch recipes.
