Ginger ale

A carbonated soft drink with subtle ginger flavor and sweetness, lighter and less spicy than ginger beer. Used as a gentler ginger mixer, ginger ale adds mild ginger notes and effervescence. It's the classic mixer for the Horse's Neck (with brandy) and simple whiskey highballs.
