- Coconut milk 3 tblsp

Mix with crushed ice in blender until smooth. Pour into chilled glass, garnish and serve.
A Piña Colada é o coquetel nacional de Porto Rico, feito misturando rum claro, creme de coco (ou leite de coco) e suco de abacaxi, ou agitando com gelo. 'Piña colada' significa abacaxi coado em espanhol. Criada supostamente em 1954, suas características doces, cremosas e tropicais a tornaram um dos coquetéis mais populares do mundo.
History & Origins
The Piña Colada was created in Puerto Rico, with the most widely accepted account crediting bartender Ramón Marrero Perez at the Caribe Hilton in San Juan on 15 August 1954, though Ramón Portas Mingot of the Barrachina restaurant in San Juan also claims invention around 1963. The drink was declared the national drink of Puerto Rico in 1978. The name means "strained pineapple" in Spanish.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: Tropical coconut and sweet pineapple with a rum sweetness. Palate: Creamy and lush with the coconut milk providing a rich, velvety body, fresh pineapple delivering a bright tropical sweetness and light acidity, and the light rum adding warmth and depth without overpowering the fruit. Finish: Smooth, sweet, and tropical with a lingering coconut and pineapple character.

Blend with crushed ice rather than cubed for a smoother, more uniform texture, and garnish with a pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry for the classic tropical presentation.
