Mezcal

A smoky Mexican spirit distilled from various agave species (not just blue agave like tequila), with complex flavors of char, earth, fruit, and smoke. Mezcal's signature smokiness comes from pit-roasting agave hearts before fermentation. It is central to the Oaxacan Old Fashioned and Mezcal Negroni.
