Saline Solution

A 20% salt-water solution (by weight) used in drops to enhance flavors and suppress bitterness in cocktails. 2-3 drops is standard. Salt amplifies sweetness and fruitiness while reducing perceived bitterness — the cocktail equivalent of seasoning food.
